First Time Setup

Get started with CheerKeeper in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Download the App​

Download CheerKeeper from your device's app store:

Step 2: Open the App​

When you first open CheerKeeper, you'll see the home screen with:

  • Search bar at the top
  • Featured events section
  • Near Me events (if location is enabled)
  • Browse All option

Step 3: Find Your Event​

You don't need an account to browse events. Search for your event:

  1. Tap the search bar
  2. Type the event name (e.g., "Spring Championship")
  3. Tap the event from the results

Event names are searchable even with partial matches. Try "Spring" or "Championship" if you don't remember the full name.

Step 4: Browse the Schedule​

Once you're in an event, you can:

  • Scroll through the full schedule
  • Search for specific teams
  • Filter by session, hall, or division
  • Tap a performance for details

Step 5: Save Your Teams (Optional)​

To track specific teams:

  1. Find a team in the schedule
  2. Tap the heart icon to save
  3. Or tap Save Team on the performance details

What's Next?​

No Account Needed​

CheerKeeper works without creating an account. You can:

  • Browse all events
  • View complete schedules
  • Search for teams

Create a free account to:

  • Save teams across devices
  • Access premium features
  • Sync your preferences

Troubleshooting​

Can't find my event​

  • Check the event name spelling
  • Ask the organizer if it's published
  • Try searching by location

App crashes on startup​

  • Update to the latest version
  • Restart your device
  • Reinstall the app
