CheerKeeper supports 69 different competition types, each with customized terminology, defaults, and features.

Performing Arts​

Cheer​

Traditional competitive cheerleading with stunts, tumbling, and choreographed routines.

  • Divisions: Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior, Senior, Open
  • Levels: 1-6
  • Rotation: 8 minutes
  • Special: Partner stunt, tumble strip

Dance​

Competitive dance including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, and more.

  • Divisions: Petite, Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior, Adult
  • Categories: Solo, Duo/Trio, Small Group, Large Group, Line, Production
  • Rotation: 5 minutes

Cheerleading​

General cheerleading category (similar to Cheer).

  • Divisions: Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior, Senior, Open
  • Levels: 1-6

Baton Twirling​

Competitive baton twirling.

  • Divisions: Age-based
  • Rotation: 5 minutes

Majorette​

Majorette and drill team competitions.

  • Divisions: Age-based
  • Rotation: 6 minutes

Colorguard​

Color guard and winter guard competitions.

  • Divisions: Age/skill-based
  • Rotation: 8 minutes

Drum Corps​

Drum and bugle corps competitions.

Using Competition Types​

When creating an event, select the competition type that best matches your event. The type affects:

  1. Terminology - "Performance" vs "Match" vs "Routine"
  2. Default divisions - Age groups appropriate to the sport
  3. Default levels - Skill/competition tiers
  4. Rotation time - Standard interval between entries
  5. Special features - Brackets, weigh-ins, seeding

Custom Terminology​

You can override default terminology in Event Settings if needed.
